"Fitting" In...
Are you trying to "fit" in somewhere?

Ever try taking that square peg and stuffing it into that round hole? Maybe when we were toddlers... You and I aren't meant to be like that thing or that person we think we would love to be (instead of who we actually are). You and I don't need to beat our body into some other shape. We're built in God's image just as He wanted us to look, and yes, this still means we need to be kind to our bodies and give them as little processed foods as possible, plenty of water, sleep, and some exercise.
Speaking about fitting in, I used to try stuffing myself into something I believed was the ideal "thing" to be or do. The reality is there are many things I like to do. How do I choose just one thing and become the best at that thing?
Guess what? "That's not true," God whispered to me. Some of us he has made to be excellent at just one thing, and they often know what or who they want to be when they're young. Others, though, he wants us to be good at several things. Sometimes it's timing, too. There may be a season where he draws us into learning something new and we train for that.
So, whether you are excellent at doing just one thing (and maybe you have a round shape) or you are good at several things (and maybe you have a square shape), we are all special in our Father's eyes.
